Maybe we should give the european model an extra page. It has the Suzuki logo inside the grille, the rest is similiar to this one. The European model is this: www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=12076 and this: www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=12077 Note that this one is a Kei car, and the European one isn't. |

OK. But why drivers from number 75 to 95 were disqualiffied from 1st round? Just an friendly reminder: Toyota Corolla GT (Georg Alber team), Toyota Corolla GT (Toyota GB Team) and VW Golf GTi need to be added. Ford Sierra drivers was disqualified because they changed the Weber electronics for a Bosch motronic And BMW drivers was disqualified because of the roofs being made from surprisingly thin metal. |

The front picture is wrong: It is from Group A rally car.

I'm not able to add the 1970 and 1971 Mercury Montego MX Brougham Sedan, because I can't find pictures of them. The only difference with these cars is that they have 6 taillights and covered headlights.

Yes it has 406 badge but every site i visit about this say it's called just Toscana. There are quite a lot of sites that say 406 Toscana as well, so let's just assume the badge is correct. -- Last edit: 2014-08-25 10:29:04 |

Must have been at some point, considering the 406 badge on the rear.

Pretty much.

Isn't this car called "Peugeot 406 Toscana"?

This is the concept which was created. It would go to production 2 years later.

Concept of Laguna Nevada, I think.

From 1978 on, they were called Mercury Capri. Before that, they were just called Capri, but as Carcrasher said, they were sold by Lincoln-Mercury dealers. I don't think it's necessary to make a seperate make page for the Capri.
|

It's always been rather confusing.
They were sold at Lincoln-Mercury dealers, and apparently didn't carry Mercury brand identification, but some people still call it the Mercury Capri to fit in with the later Ford Mustang and Australian Capri based models, which were called Mercury Capris. |

|
i don't understand. Mercury or Capri for the make?

One could say this car was the Camaro Concept of the '90s.
Pretty much everything translated directly to the production car, even carrying over a 1.8L I4 engine, although the production 1.8s always had more power until 2002, when a 148hp version was offered with FWD only. |
