It is.

They copied Volkswagen for the nose...
|
||
|
Partially a Honda Accord copy, not sure what the rest is, though.
|

Looks to be based directly on the current Ford Focus, evident by the fact that Changan has a joint venture with Ford, which includes production of the Focus.

Looks like an awkward fusion copy of a Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse and a Buick Excelle...

Continued production version of the fourth generation Honda City.

Another Subaru Forester copy.
|

Obvious Toyota Supra copy.

It's still available, at least in the UK it is.

Based on the upcoming third-gen Fit/Jazz, right?
|
||
|
Indeed.
Most of Holden's current lineup is built in South Korea, the next Colorado and Colorado7 (whenever the next generation model comes out) could be either Japanese or American built, the Volt is already American built, and GM could possibly make a next generation Commodore/SS based on an extended version of the Alpha platform (or Alpha II, if it's available by 2017) and build it in the US. It might not be the most cost effective, but it could keep the Holden lineup like it is, just not built in Australia (unless GM surprises us with a facility in New Zealand, which seems unlikely). |

Nice to see 3-cylinder engines reappearing in the US market.
We've hardly had any in the last decade or so, and only one of those is still available today, the smart ForTwo. The Honda Insight has gone I-4, the Chevrolet Metro has been succeeded by the I-4 Spark. But now, we're getting an EcoBoost I-3 Ford Fiesta, the Mitsubishi Mirage (albeit being sub-par, even for basic transportation), and now this. I've got the feeling that the I-3 is gonna have a resurgence in the US, just like diesel has in the last few years. |

Apparently, this car will go on sale in the Japanese market in February as the Skyline, but will retain the Infiniti badges on the grille, wheels, engine cover, and steering wheel, but the Infiniti badge and nameplating on the trunk will be removed, replaced by the Skyline nameplate with no manufacturer badge. -- Last edit: 2013-11-11 20:18:44 |

Locally produced version of the Proton Persona.

Looks like an awkwardly proportioned Buick Regal/Opel Insignia with the side windows of a Chevrolet Impala...

Coming to the US market in January of next year.

I've got the feeling this would be right at home at a Hollywood movie studio.

Looks like it's ready to eat the Ariel Atom's lunch...metaphorically speaking.
|

Since it's based on the Dart...shouldn't it be US origin, not Italian? (Besides, it's not even available in Italy, it's Chinese exclusive.)

Press release found here (www.netcarshow.com/ssangyong/2013-turismo/) confirms UK availability under the name Turismo.

It's official: The G37 sedan will remain in the Infiniti lineup until the end of the 2015 model year, selling along side the new Q50, while the related G37 coupe and convertible are renamed Q60.

At the moment, no.
But, it's already known that the G37 sedan will continue production along side the Q50 for a short period of time, the G Coupe and Convertible will become the G60 (no word if that means the current models will be renamed, or if that will wait for a redesign, like the Q50), and the M will soon become the Q70. Edit: Just looked it over again, the G coupe/convertible will become the Q60 without a redesign. -- Last edit: 2013-08-05 20:42:50 |

True. Same with the QX56 being renamed QX80.
I stumbled upon them while searching the site of an Infiniti dealer in Glendale, California, after looking around the city on Street View. No QX50s (renamed EX), though. Maybe another dealer has some. Edit: Did some searching in other major US cities, and found a QX50 in Austin, Texas. That officially means all of the Infiniti SUVs and crossovers have been renamed with the QX prefix. -- Last edit: 2013-08-05 19:14:19 |

Renamed QX70 for 2014 model year, and they're already hitting dealer lots (in the US, at least).

Front end is an obvious Nissan Leaf ripoff.

Strangely enough, as the cars are marked for either developing markets (x01) and traditional markets (x08), this is sold in Mexico along side the 207, 208, and 308, according to the Mexican Peugeot website.

It's a Pajero/Montero, which makes perfect sense, since Changfeng has been building licensed civilian and military Mitsubishi models under license since 1995.
