The Encore may have been revealed first, but it's still a German engineered vehicle. Opel even says so.

Literally a rebadged Opel. German origin, not US origin.
I wouldn't consider this of US origin, since the Envision isn't sold in the US at all (at least not yet).
Shouldn't the origin technically be Germany, not US? The Encore is a rebadged Opel Mokka, after all.

Not 'soon', I can already confirm that 2016 model year CX-5s and 6s are already on dealer lots in the US.

Badge engineered version of the Renault Captur, apparently imported instead of locally built.

The regular US market Tuscon does not receive this front fascia update, only the US spec Fuel Cell model does.
The gasoline powered US-Spec Tuscons received a different facelift that looks closer to the original version, just with a different bumper, though it did receive the same taillights as this one. |

After the 2014 model year, Hyundai is discontinuing the Elantra Coupe, at least for the US market.
Looking at the US Hyundai website, the Elantra and Elantra GT are updated as 2015 models, but the Elantra Coupe is still marked as a 2014. |

There's also two other variants of this car:
- the Grand i10, with a 100mm longer wheelbase, sold in India, the Philippines, and Mexico. (www.hyundai.com/mx/es/Showroom/Cars/Grand-i10-2015/PIP/index.html) - and a sedan version of the Grand i10, sold in India as the Xcent, and in Mexico as the Grand i10 Sedan. (www.hyundai.com/mx/es/Showroom/Cars/Grand-i10Sedan-2015/PIP/index.html) This car's 1.2L engine is available in both variants (and the only engine offered in the Mexican market Grand i10 and Grand i10 Sedan), with 1.1L turbodiesel and 1.0L LPG (LPG engine not available in the Xcent) engines also offered. |

Was this unveiled with the Aqua nameplate before or after it was unveiled as the Prius C?
If it was shown as Aqua first, I don't know what to list as presentation. If it was shown as the Prius C first, then it would be the 2014 Los Angeles International Auto Show, or simply 2014 Los Angeles, because that's where Toyota showed it with the US-spec Prius C nameplate. |

Japan is No, because the car is sold under the Chrysler brand there, just like the UK and Ireland.

Saw a bunch of these on a dealer lot yesterday, I can confirm that the US-spec Trax IS Korean built, unlike the Canadian-spec model.
Wouldn't it make more sense for this to be listed as Origin: China, since it's just a rebadged and locally built Chery Tiggo?

A rebadged Ford Verona (webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=11575), which was Orion based, itself a sedan/coupe version of the Escort.

There doesn't appear to be any big differences, other than the fact that the US spec 500Xs will have the 2.4 Tigershark I4 as an available engine. The 1.4 will be the same in US spec, and there won't be any diesels.
I'd say a separate page wouldn't be necessary, just that when the specs for the Tigershark are out, just list that engine as (USA), like some other cars here have for the US models. |

While there's no set production number for these, Toyota is expecting about 200 orders a month for one year, so around 2400 or so.
Toyota apparently plans to offer this only for that one year and that's it, but I wouldn't be surprised that IF demand exceeds expectations, they might extend it. |

Nose looks Kia-like, rear looks part BMW, part NSX, with maybe a hint of new Cherokee.
Appears the Chinese market has gotten to the point that even the big foreign OEMs are copying each other, and not just in China, either. -- Last edit: 2014-09-10 20:52:16 |

Ford Escape/Kuga ripoff?
Must have been at some point, considering the 406 badge on the rear.
Pretty much.

It's always been rather confusing.
They were sold at Lincoln-Mercury dealers, and apparently didn't carry Mercury brand identification, but some people still call it the Mercury Capri to fit in with the later Ford Mustang and Australian Capri based models, which were called Mercury Capris. |
One could say this car was the Camaro Concept of the '90s.
Pretty much everything translated directly to the production car, even carrying over a 1.8L I4 engine, although the production 1.8s always had more power until 2002, when a 148hp version was offered with FWD only. |
Pretty obvious that this concept evolved into the Forester.
Although the AZEAL (all upper case letters) never saw production, many of the styling cues ended up being used later in the [B16] Sentra.

2014 Model Year colors complete.

Very good. Can you update with pics the Impreza WRX that you put a few days ago? I hope there will be other members (new?) that do some other colors. It's more easy than putting a car. Just finished updating with pics. There's just a small typo that needs to be corrected there on one of them. Mentioned it in the comments on the page. |
Pictures added for the colors, but I realize I made a typo on one of them. It's Dark Gray Metallic, not Dark Grey Metallic.
Would it be possible to fix that without having to make an identical color? |
We've got three of the same Ford EcoSport and two of the same for certain Buicks (Encore, Enclave, Regal, LaCrosse), so why not do the same with this?
