Just a heads up, you don’t need to put MT or AT in the engine name, because it already tells you to the right of the engine name.

ah ok difficult to say how doing that i have to search for that. But for others country like Spain, if no one do spain engines, how the page look? Well it depends on the car of course, but I think most European countries would have the same engines? I don't usually do Europe, so I don't know how often you encounter engines that are only available in specific countries. It's a bit complicated, because engines would need to have settings for which country they were available in. But I would say by default, all engines are available for the countries in which the car is available, and then we can work from there. -- Last edit: 2020-04-26 15:23:13 |

oh good idea for the last thing you say. You select the country where you live? It's that? And after that the site list alls car sold in your country and the others cars are in another section like "Cars not imported". But we have for that to complete more the countries where the cars are sold... No I mean the actual car pages, not the brand pages. I think the brand pages are good like how you divided them (Europe, USA, Japan, Asia, etc). |

i think 2 pages are ok. I think i will also search a new presentation for make in the future (when i will do WCS V3) with perhaps a make an diferents sections like that: Toyota Select a country > Japan > Europe > USA > China ... and it will done the models sold in the country instead of having a lot of differents makes just with the differents countries That sounds good! I would be in favor of “select a country”. I was also wondering if it would be a good idea to change the “car is sold in country” section. Instead of having green and red dots, have only green dots show up, or just the flags of the counties where it was sold. I think knowing a car was *not* sold in “country x” is not very interesting. Maybe also have the option to select a country ourselves, so for example, a Renault Clio wasn’t sold in the USA, so the US flag doesn’t show up on the Clio page at all. But then you select it was sold in Portugal, and a Portuguese flag shows up. Another idea I just want to throw out there, maybe we can use the countries (flags) to change how the pages look. So if you select the French flag, the car's page will show the name(s), engines, etc that were available in France (and European pictures). Basically have all the relevant info on the page for the country you are looking at. If you select the US flag, the car's page will show the name(s), engines, etc that were available in the USA (with American pictures). I know WCS has limitations, and I don't know how much is possible, but perhaps we can use parts of any of these ideas. -- Last edit: 2020-04-26 14:04:36 |

Does anyone have suggestions on what to do with this page?
I thought it was important for Audi USA to have its own page, mainly because of the models from the 70s and 80s that look very different from their European counterparts. If we are looking at the more modern models however, 2000+ and especially 2010+, they all look extremely similar to the European models, to the point where I think it's difficult to justify a separate page for the American market model (I also don't think the engine options are very different). I am thinking about maybe deleting some of the newer models, merging them with the European models, or leaving them as they are. What do you guys think? Should I keep adding new American market Audis to this page? |

Ford78, if you look at the small preview picture of this car, you can see that the car is barely in it.
What I usually do is I go into Microsoft Paint, I remove some of the space in the picture above the car and then reupload it. That should make it a bit better ![]() -- Last edit: 2020-04-26 01:13:24 |

Is this photo any better? It was the best-quality photo of the Lettuce that I could find. cdn.snsimg.carview.co.jp/minkara/userstorage/000/038/701/326/081a22eafd.jpg?ct=d9cae18fb233 I was only able to find one photo of the rear of the Lettuce, though I can't confirm if it depicts a pre or post-facelift model. minkara.carview.co.jp/image.aspx?src=https%3a%2f%2fcdn.snsimg.carview.co.jp%2fcarlife%2fimages%2fUserDiary%2f5821915%2fp1.jpg%3fct%3ded520b438fc4 Yeah that front pic is definitely better. I will replace it in the morning. The rear picture is apparently post-facelift because of the air vent by the rear side windows. -- Last edit: 2020-04-26 10:28:47 |

The rear picture barely shows the rear of the car at all. Here's a better one: pbs.twimg.com/media/ChScIKkUgAEl9q3.jpg You're right. I thought the car on your picture was a bit beaten up though, so I had a quick look for other pictures, and I actually found a good manufacturer pic! So I'm using that one. Thanks for the picture though. |

Thanks, but this picture is from a Australian model, if I'm not mistaken. It has the steering wheel on the left side, so I don't think it's Australian. Judging by some of the info that comes with the picture, I think it's a German model. |

Sorry, I couldn't find any better picture of a European E70 Corolla Estate than this. If anyone has a better picture than this, please feel free to replace it. I don't know if the headlights are important, but I found this: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:KE70V-last.jpg |

Note: This is not actually a sedan, it's a hatchback with 2 doors on the passenger side and 1 door on the driver side.

Rinspeed, is it possible to transfer this Corolla from Toyota's main Page to Toyota Europe's page? This version is the European version. Done! |

Budd Company has produced car bodies for various brands, such as Morris, Nash and Pontiac, as well as components for other major brands.
In 1961 they created a concept car by combining a Ford Thunderbird body with a Ford Falcon chassis, and pitched it to Ford. They were turned down, and a few years later Ford introduced the Mustang to the market. After being declined, Budd created the XR-400 by combining a sports car body with the Rambler Ambassador chassis, and pitched it to AMC. They were again turned down, and dropped the idea. An interesting "what if" in automotive history, if AMC had accepted the XR-400 and made it into a production car, they could have had a Ford Mustang competitor before Ford introduced their pony car. -- Last edit: 2020-04-23 21:01:49 |

i don't know... It has similar dimensions, engine displacement, and the Visa starts in the year that the Ami ends. I think it’s safe to say that it’s the successor. |

Isn’t the Visa the successor of this car?

No, it's a Scepter with Camry badging. Here are some more pictures of the car in question: option.tokyo/2019/09/30/37764/ I’d prefer pictures of the stock car, with Scepter badging to be honest. But seeing as it’s difficult to find pictures of the car in question, I won’t replace it right now. |
||
The rear pic seems to be of a Toyota Camry, not a Scepter. Could it be removed?

Can someone please remove that second picture of the rear? I meant to upload a photo of the interior. I can't delete it, but I replaced it for you. If you have a better pic, let me know. |

The Subarus should now be in the right places with the right pictures, but data might be off.

Edit: Any idea if the WRX of this generation was sold in Japan? I can't find any evidence suggesting that it was. According to JP wikipedia, the WRX was called S-GT instead for this generation, and it was only sold as a hatchback. -- Last edit: 2020-04-18 15:55:02 |

This entry should be moved to the Subaru USA page, as it seems to be the US-spec WRX rather than the JDM one. Edit: Any idea if the WRX of this generation was sold in Japan? I can't find any evidence suggesting that it was. I think the Subaru page is a mess because it hasn’t changed much since we started splitting Japanese brands between Japan, Europe and North America. Give me a couple of hours to fix it and then the cars should be in the right places. |

This page is still missing several key models, including most of the older versions of the Legacy and Impreza. I'm not sure if anyone else is working on this so is it okay if I go ahead and add the missing models? Feel free to add them, I might make edits here and there so they are consistent with the other Japanese cars. |

Moved this back to upcoming cars. Apparently production hasn’t started yet, and might be skipped this year.

This page really needs cleanup, as it includes information for the North American, Japanese, European and Australian models, despite it supposedly being only for the North American-spec Celica Supra. In addition to this, the "successor" here is the JDM A70 Supra rather than the US-spec model (which hasn't been added to this site yet), so I believe that should be removed as well. You’re right, this page was added very long ago, and doesn’t really fit with the way we do things on WCS now. Except for Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota, the Japanese brands are mostly complete. I am planning to do the other brands when I have the specifications, but that could take years. I will remove all info on this car that isn’t relevant for the American market, and then you are welcome to edit and finish it. |
