JFK 2016-06-04 14:35 | Rinspeed, did you heard about the pre-1997 cars ban in Paris? |
sajmon14 2016-06-04 18:20 | scontent-waw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13331105_10154189002409618_3712330846528319621_n.png?oh=923394b18ea7ae8429848f7931b959a1&oe=5807896C This is the best commentary for that ban: on the left you see cars allowed since 1.07.2016 and on the right cars that will be banned. This makes literally no sense ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-06-04 18:38:18 |
Mark0 2016-06-04 19:14 | That CO2 thing is total nonsense. |
Rinspeed 2016-06-05 09:58 | yes of course, the mayor of Paris doesn't want pollution and want that the people uses the bus, metro, train, autolib (electric cars vehicle at disposition) and velib (cycle at disposition). So they doesn't allow the cars with Euro 1 regulation in Paris. But this isn't the end, they will purchase that with the objective to not allow cars with Euro 4 (before 2011) in 2020. |
Mark0 2016-06-05 10:45 | They should ban VW's. Every model util 2020 Model Year... ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-06-05 10:58:38 |
Desscythe17 2016-06-05 12:28 | And those 80s Mercedes Diesels, those count for a factory each pollution-wise. -- Last edit: 2016-06-05 12:29:00 |
JFK 2016-06-05 13:14 | At least it isnt whole country thing ![]() The sh*t will hit the fan (sorry for language) will happen in 2020, since I think your Alfa will be banned too. It kinda suprises me that somebody in capital of such advanced country uses pre-1997 cars. |
Desscythe17 2016-06-05 13:52 | Well Paris isn't all fancy cars and rich people. The people living on the edge of Paris probably drive older cars mainly. |
JFK 2016-06-05 13:58 | Isnt that law for centrum only? |
Desscythe17 2016-06-05 14:10 | Yes very possible, but people from all around Paris have to cross the city center I guess. |
Rinspeed 2016-06-05 15:50 | no, it's for all Paris (all inside the line peripheric road that enclose Paris) but not for the others little cities around Paris. It's for all days 8am to 8pm. The cars from before 1997 can run the night and week end. The collection cars (more than 30 years) aren't concerned by this law. Yes it will also hit my Alfa but of course, i'm not in paris but in east south of France (with the sun ;-) ), and i planned perhaps in a few years to search for a cabriolet (Alfa Spider? Fiat 124 Spider? i will see) |
JFK 2016-06-05 19:20 | One more question if you pardon me ![]() My sister wants to go to Paris with her car that is 28 years old but it is registred (and used) as a normal vehicle. -- Last edit: 2016-06-05 19:22:57 |
Rinspeed 2016-06-05 19:38 | i think this is only for cars with the 'collection licence'. And the 28 years old is not enough. But she can let it around Paris and go inside with other transport. |
JFK 2016-06-05 19:45 | Thank you for info ![]() ![]() |
JFK 2016-07-09 16:06 | Fall of IGCD Dont take it too seriously. I am searching for mistakes, but any constructive critisism is appreciated. |
Rinspeed 2016-07-09 16:15 | ![]() ![]() |
Desscythe17 2016-07-09 16:18 | It's good self-criticism. I agree with Rinspeed, hopefully the rules will actually help. |
Mark0 2016-07-09 16:23 | ![]() ![]() |
Desscythe17 2016-07-09 16:29 | Let's not throw IGCD into chaos again, I wouldn't want to have to IGPD you. ![]() |
Mark0 2016-07-09 17:23 | I will never do that ![]() |
Rinspeed 2016-07-11 13:23 | Can you add something for the innapropriate language to be more clear (not only against other members) on the IGCD rules? Thanks |
