There is no way that American Dream is not here included. It is awesome, and it comes with pool + helicopter!
Best source I could find: articles.chicagotribune.com/1986-07-20/features/8602220324_1_world-records-ultra-limousine-vini-bergema Sadly, the car is now in this shape: s.yimg.com/os/en-US/cms/autos/Boldride/longest-car-in-the-world-restoration.jpg Damn. I misspeled Jays surname: he is Ohrberg not Ohberg. -- Last edit: 2015-09-21 00:14:32 |

I certainly wouldn't decline that offer. I dont want to be admin because I was angry on Rinspeed, but I want to be admin when I will deserve to be admin. |

Wow, this was sold in Europe? I would have never expected that, with the Kadett being around. As far as I know this was sold in Czechoslovakia between 1988 and 1989 for more than twice as much as basic Skoda Favorit, so yeah, it was pretty expensive and luxurious car back then. Desscythe17 a écrit As for the taillights issue, I think a specific trim level has taillights that go across the rear, and the other (lower) trim levels have simple taillights. That could be possibility too. I never saw this car in person, so I cant tell. |

Looks like French counterpart to Velorex 435.
And yes, I chosed a main picture with James May who did not enjoyed driving this car. |

I had pass 1 or 2 hours to see more details for it. I see a restyling in 1990 but in Korea? Korea and Europe? I don't know (and i don't know also what is the restyling) Proably rear lights, and it wasnt in Europe as far as I found out: ![]() In this page, you can see 1993 Racer with rear end like older one (yeah, it got some sort of lights across whole end, but it isnt that massive update than asian version, could be aftermarket too), and different front is proably because it is "sporty edition" auta5p.eu/katalog/daewoo/racer_05.php -- Last edit: 2015-09-20 20:31:58 |

I would like to add someday its predecessor - Ford Vedette. But it was built under Ford France, so I guess we are not going to create another Ford brand, so I will just do it under Ford Europe brand.

Managed to do one kilometer with car that moves when is going past start (dat explanation skills) in czech car and czech driver in speed 276 km/h. Car was specialy desgined by Tatra and restauration workshop Ecorra Lubina to surpass the record from 1950s, but different guy took one day before Ecorra ride MTX Tatra Sport V8 and surpassed the 50s record with much lower speed. Records can be overwritten one time per year, and Ecorra team did not tried it again in 1998. So this car didnt officialy surpassed the record, but defacto it did by 66 km/h.
Later, the car was bought by some racing team and it did about 70 races, but there are no good sources of which races were drive with it and in what place did this finished. -- Last edit: 2015-09-19 17:37:37 |

A long time ago, after a quite serious crash is this car converted to coupe. Sadly, engine was replaced by standard one with 1/2 of the original 700 GT power. Original 700 GT engine was mounted to car called Grafit (graphite), and I have feeling that I find the car, now called Tatra Grafit - kinda looks like homemade lambo.

I don't know if you can actually call it a car. In the Netherlands, you only need a scooter license to drive them. Also they are not counted towards Dutch car sales. Well, it have 4 wheels and roof, but I see your point. In CZ we have it aswell, that you can drive it when you have scooter licence. I called it in my comment rounabout (oddly, when I translate it from CZ to EN, it works, but not vice versa - it means something like small car, that is not suited for long trips and driving outside of town), and micro-car would be suitable too I guess. |

What a fancy name with long history of using it on hi-powered cars for roundabout with amazing 5 HP.

I guess because back in 1990s were combis bought to haul stuff and not to be pretty, so Peugeot just passed the Break. Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake with expensive kind of wood floor is an example of degeneration of combis these days.
BTW: where I can find this line? A = Accept, E = Edit, R = Add results for a driver, D = Delete I am not sure in which exact context it is, so I need to see the page for correct translation of "Add results for a driver" -- Last edit: 2015-09-17 19:04:18 |

According to Karel Repa's book "Škoda 130 RS : vítěz Mistrovství Evropy značek 1981" it was downsized 120 engine. Well, that is the first time I heard about somebody did from bigger engine smaller. Usually for racecars mechanics will do the standard engine bigger. |
||
|
If origin of engine is from standard car, it isnt a 120 engine, but slightly resized 105. As far as I know this type of car wasnt made with 1100 cc engine, only with 1050 or 1200 and later with 1300 cc ones.

Well, V8 5.0 liter american motor powered Skoda is a thing you dont see every day. Shouldnt it be Origin UK or CZ - Made for UK? Because this car would be impossibru to made in eastern bloc.

Yes, it was for hill climbing and it was racing for at least 3 years. You can see pages Závody (Races) 1979, Závody 1980, and Závody 1981 with photos in it, that is my source.

Only street legal car (although it looks like few motorbike parts mashed together and covered with rag) that have rag as a bodyshell.
They did them before 1955, but as a Os-Kar (Car on axis (osa)) 53. Half of them were exported. It appeared on Top Gear: www.imcdb.org/i203926.jpg and Jeremy didnt like it. It had 4 gears forward and 4 reverse - engine could run on opposite way, so someone with suicide thoughts could theoretically ride in this 3-wheeled tent backwards at 85 km/h. It had major role in movie Vrchní, prchni (Head waiter, get lost), when it was second car of main character with Lada. Well, that are some facts about this interesting car. |
||
|
Hoba I 250 was owned by its "father" Mr. Honc, second one with bigger engine was done for guy from Brno, and then was "mold" (thank you, google translator) for this car bodywork sold. They were built more Hobas from new owner of molds, but they are not considered as "true" ones and they dont have that much quality.
|
||
|
There was also 1949 model (only one car), which had some facelift features. It isnt known if it was factory convertible, or if it was later rebuilded. Also few Tuckers managed to get to NASCAR.
|
||
|
It was street legal and normally used by its only owner, was not meant to be produced in big numbers, after Hoba I failed to be produced massively (one used by "father of Hoba", Mr. Honc, and second was sold for a guy from Brno. But if you want to have it like prototype, since only one car was produced, I can change it, I dont mind it.
Yes it is 1979 only, so I will know that I need to fill second column too, thanks for info -- Last edit: 2015-09-13 13:52:26 |

I tried to find as much informations about it, but I pretty much ended up with unspecified AMC V8 engine from Jeep and 4x4. If anyone is from Greece, could you look to the museum and try to find more info about it?

I found on one magazine in report about Dakar 2006 werid looking self-appointed Mitsubishi Terrano. I think that it is meant to be joke, since i did not found out anything on internet about it:
Magazine says, quote: Mitsubishi Terrano (?!?) - One of the worst looking car (and worst made) was driven in Dakar convoy by Miguel Prieto from Spain. Because 3rd stage was already in africa, this car could look into black continent. I dont remember that this car, which is odd (starts with the name), could make it into 3rd or 4th stage. This year it was not different. I googled the driver and I did not found anything about that he was driving that 90s looking beated up Dakar racing pickup. |

Well, that is the first time I heard about somebody did from bigger engine smaller. Usually for racecars mechanics will do the standard engine bigger.

JFK, you don't need to have an admin, but if you accept our offer to be an admin, you will be able to add cars much faster and without much effort. Why are you angry with Rinspeed?
Because he disaproved my two cars that I done after midnight and as a hothead I went nuts to him. I am okay now.
