How do I submit a image for a replacement?
I refuse to keep this image a Trans Am for the front, when it's meant to be a Firebird.
*I will probably make a second page for the Trans Am as well*

Alright, calm down there.

Generally speaking, we don't make separate pages for cars when they are visually extremely similar to another car sold in the same market. Older Trans Ams have different bumpers, lights, etc. from the normal Firebirds. For the 92-02 model, this is no longer the case. They might have a different hood or something, but other than that, they don't really look different. Therefore, it's not necessary to create a page for every single version of the car. If they have different engines, we can just compile those on one page instead to keep the website from becoming terribly cluttered.

The 70-73 Camaro I divided in a couple of pages because they all had very different facias. After 73, there is just a page for the regular Camaro and the Z/28 or IROC-Z.

iF i'M perfectly honest, the main reason I'd want to is to keep continuity with the rest of the pages for them, as well as, you know, not keeping all the information on one page that goes under the base model.
at the very least, going to replace pictures with ones that are of the actual models(the 92-97 having pictures of a trans am instead makes me sick)

I want to make separate pages for them regardless because I already have all the information ready but if it's gonna get me banned or something, I don't know.

Did this man just say they don't lOOK DIFFERENT ENOUGH? or SPECIAL ENOUGH?

Desscythe, with all due respect, that's a bit dumb.

They're different packages with their own performance statistics and differences from the originals. And if you want to hit me with the whole "tHeY dOnT loOk dIFfErEnT" thing, why do all the packages for the Camaros have different pages? Or the ones for the previous Trans Ams?
Regardless I'm already getting stuff put together to make their own pages, so :/

I don't think the 92-02 generation looks different enough as a Trans Am to warrant separate pages. Also don't think the Formula looks special enough.

For the versions that don't have them, I'm going to be making separate pages for packages for the Firebirds(like Trans Ams, Formulas). Because of this, after the pages are made, is it possible to remove the engines exclusive to those models?

The Trans Am already has mostly separate pages. What other versions need their own pages?

This car had a bit of an identity crisis. It was introduced for MY 1982 as the Pontiac J2000. For 1983, it was renamed the Pontiac 2000.
It got a facelift in 1984 and was renamed the Pontiac 2000 Sunbird. Then from 1985 onwards, it was known as Pontiac Sunbird.
The only exception is the convertible, which was introduced for 1983 as the Pontiac 2000 Sunbird, and then became the Sunbird in 1985.

1984-1986 Pontiac Parisienne [B-Body]

NL Desscythe17

2019-07-02 20:42
With the B-body Catalina and Bonneville being discontinued in 1981, Pontiac missed a lot of potential full-size car sales, with long-time customers buying at other brands.
Pontiac realized they needed a full-size car for the time being, and decided to import the Canadian-built Parisienne to the United States. The Parisienne looked like a Pontiac, but was actually built on Chevrolet underpinnings, making it a lot cheaper than bringing back the discontinued Bonneville.
1981-1986 Pontiac Bonneville Series VII [G-Body]

NL Desscythe17

2019-07-02 19:28
This car was essentially a slightly reworked LeMans. It received the Bonneville name from the bigger B-body car that was discontinued.
The A-body platform this car was based on was renamed the G-body, since a new FWD A-body was introduced (underpinning the Pontiac 6000).
This Bonneville was also named "Bonneville Model G" for a few years because of this.

This car was called Grand LeMans for 1982 and 1983 in Canada, after which it was renamed Bonneville, marking the debut of that name in Canada.

The three full-sized Pontiacs for 1970 were the Catalina, Executive and Bonneville.

Like Chevrolet, Pontiac made up for not having a bigger C-Platform car by having more B-Platform cars.
Unlike Chevrolet, the Pontiacs rode on bigger wheelbases. Chevrolets all had a 302cm wheelbase, the Catalina a 310cm wheelbase, and the Executive and Bonneville a 318cm wheelbase.

Visually, the Pontiacs didn't differ much, which is why I combined the Executive and Bonneville into one page.
