and you could add them without pics, perhaps some members will do them in the future. Perhaps i will do a page with the coulours without pics to search in the future. How about small squares with colors? There are multiple paint databases online which have those. I think those are better than configurator colors which I posted before. |

The Panza is so incredibly rare that I could barely find any engine data. Thank you for your understanding

Placed Crystal Black Silica as a metallic, even though I'm not sure what the paint finish classifies as.
Otherwise, all colors are listed, just awaiting images. -- Last edit: 2014-08-12 03:14:44 |

Question: What would Silica mineral paint classify under? Metallic?

4 Red for this Clio: Rouge Cerise, Rouge Vif, Rouge Andalou, Rouge de Feu I believe my mother has Rouge de Feu. I will be adding colors without pictures in the future I think, when I'm done linking cars together. |

I'll photograph my mom's car sometime. She has a Bordeaux Red 3-dr Clio, although that probably isn't the official name. 4 Red for this Clio: Rouge Cerise, Rouge Vif, Rouge Andalou, Rouge de Feu |

yes i know, but the color could be not really representative of the good one. I had see that a lot of time. Configurator is just a program. and you could add them without pics, perhaps some members will do them in the future. Maybe I'll try it again some other time. Configurator colors are kind of the easiest way of adding these colors. yes i know, but the color could be not really representative of the good one. I had see that a lot of time. Configurator is just a program. |

There is a prob with you pics, the car is too small, cut the pic. 2nd thing, it could be not very good to have Configurator pics, because a lot of time the color isn't really the good one. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automotive_paint Basically, there are three kinds of paint: Solid, metallic and pearlescent. Solid is what I meant with gloss, it's standard paint used on most cars in the past and some (basic white, red or black) on new cars. Metallic is extra sparkly and looks better. In the past it was used on "premium" cars, nowadays almost every car has metallic paint. Pearlescent is paint with a different color over it, which makes it look as if the car changes color if you look at a different angle. Solid> nothing to put, basic paint M for metallic, P for perlescent (Nacré for us). It seems that there is a lot of Pearlescent Paint now. |

if we don't have pictures, we could put only the name also. Perhaps after someone else can add the pic. For info 2 pts by color, 3 pts by pic. Gloss? Laqué in French? i don't think there is a lot of cars with that. But in the future if we have some cars with others paints, i can add it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automotive_paint Basically, there are three kinds of paint: Solid, metallic and pearlescent. Well, I think finding pictures with the different colors is the hardest part. It would be easier of course if we could just put the names of different colors, although it doesn't really give people an idea of what the color looks like, so that might be a bad idea. I'm going to change to pearled to pearlescent, since I believe that that's the English name for it. p.s. What about other kinds of paint? There are lots of cars that don't have metallic or pearlescent paint, like gloss for example. if we don't have pictures, we could put only the name also. Perhaps after someone else can add the pic. if i had put peraled, i was wrong, it's for pearled. It's Nacré in French, i don't know if it's the good translation. If it's not correct, please correct it in the system of lang. And for old cars, i know, we will do what we can... Perhaps it will be only for recent cars. I think also it could interest some members because it's more easy to put a color of a car than a complete car. Well, I think finding pictures with the different colors is the hardest part. It's a cool feature, but it's going to be difficult for cars that aren't being sold anymore. One question: "Type M if the paint is metallic, P if it is peraled, otherwise leave blank". New feature on IGCD: You can add colors of a car with pics. There is some things to translate or verify in english. You can also tranlate Colors to have them in your language (if it exist in your country, put it, if not translate it). Next time the color appears on another car (with the same make), it will be automatically traduct. It's a cool feature, but it's going to be difficult for cars that aren't being sold anymore. Could someone add the Maestro? (MG version too) I might add some British cars when I'm done with American and Japanese cars, so I won't add it very soon. |
