Rinspeed, I'm confused between 04-06 and 01-04. Is because when I was putting an picture of colours of clio, I noticed that Vert Epicéa is from 2001-04, I think.

No color without picture, at least a configurator picture, at best real pic.
We can say that if someone want to put a real pic instead, he had to create a new color and we will erase the old one (by putting an information).

I cant deliver a link because they dont list it on the Cadillac website anymore because they stopped selling it to make room for the new generation. But my german car catalogue definetly lists it as available.

How about small squares with colors? There are multiple paint databases online which have those. I think those are better than configurator colors which I posted before.

Placed Crystal Black Silica as a metallic, even though I'm not sure what the paint finish classifies as.

Otherwise, all colors are listed, just awaiting images.

I'll photograph my mom's car sometime. She has a Bordeaux Red 3-dr Clio, although that probably isn't the official name.

Basically, there are three kinds of paint:
Solid, metallic and pearlescent.
Solid is what I meant with gloss, it's standard paint used on most cars in the past and some (basic white, red or black) on new cars.
Metallic is extra sparkly and looks better. In the past it was used on "premium" cars, nowadays almost every car has metallic paint.
Pearlescent is paint with a different color over it, which makes it look as if the car changes color if you look at a different angle.

Well, I think finding pictures with the different colors is the hardest part. It would be easier of course if we could just put the names of different colors, although it doesn't really give people an idea of what the color looks like, so that might be a bad idea.

I'm going to change to pearled to pearlescent, since I believe that that's the English name for it.

p.s. What about other kinds of paint? There are lots of cars that don't have metallic or pearlescent paint, like gloss for example.

And for old cars, i know, we will do what we can... Perhaps it will be only for recent cars. I think also it could interest some members because it's more easy to put a color of a car than a complete car.
