It's a huge loss for the sport, unfortunately TOCA chose not to the renew the contract with Renault Clio Cup UK. The other countries's Renault Clio Cup should continue as normal though.

Remember: 2000 is the last year that BTCC runs the Super Touring Car. And also, the BTC Production Cars are introduced in the same year, although these Production Cars were originally called "Class B" Touring cars.

This Mercedes-Benz 190E STCC was built by Mercedes Motorsport Sweden. This 190E isn't the same as DTM, as the DTM version has 1040kg, while the STCC has 1000 kg. This car was built according to Nordic Touring Regulations and ran only in 1996 and never was raced again since then.
