I assume this and the eK are the first true collaborative products since Mitsubishi became part of the alliance with Renault and Nissan, right? Love how they gave each brand their own visual identity, which is rather rare in the kei car market, where most rebrandings are simple rebadges, while here the Dayz looks like a Nissan, and the eK looks like a Mitsubishi without one being confused for the other. Technically I guess they are, but the Otti/Dayz has always been a rebadged Mitsubishi eK, ever since its first generation. I doubt this one is any more Nissan than the previous ones. The Nissan depicted here is the Highway Star version, which looks a bit more glamorous. The regular Dayz looks exactly like the eK Wagon. The eK, on the other hand, has a more "cool" looking version, the eK X: i.wheelsage.org/pictures/m/mitsubishi/ek_x/mitsubishi_ek_x.jpeg As you can see, this is inspired by the recent Delica D:5 facelift, giving it Mitsubishi identity. -- Last edit: 2019-03-18 22:58:24 |
