The story behind this car is mad! It was the first post-WW2 Rolls-Royce not designed in-house, first Rolls-Royce designed to metric measurements and the first car to ever have split-level climate control. At-launch was the most expensive car in the world (albeit briefly). It was launched in the USA a year after it's launch in Europe.
On a side-note, I'm not sure that the production location is correct but I can not offer an alternative at present.

Possibly the ugliest Rolls-Royce ever?
