Rinspeed 2012-08-24 22:29 | ah ok it's only for special thing to say but never used (only some cars). It's like special info for the engine.
Desscythe17 2012-08-24 22:22 | Rinspeed a écrit you do a good job ;-) It's difficult to do this type of car! I dont understand the things you said "others section". What did you talk? I actually find these cars very easy to do, you can add lots of engines by copying previous engines, and they're almost only for the American market. the others section, I mean when you're editing a motor, between "Tire Size" and "Return/Update", it says "Others" and you can fill it in, but I don't know what you should put there?

Desscythe17 2012-08-24 22:11 | By the way, I've been wondering for a while now.. What is the "Others" section for?
Desscythe17 2012-08-24 22:06 | I'll do it for this car, finish the station wagon, and then do it for the rest of the cars I recently added.
Rinspeed 2012-08-24 22:03 | yes it will be more easy to read in the list
Desscythe17 2012-08-24 21:58 | Rinspeed a écrit i dont think it's necessary to post same engines with just different weight. If we do that for the recent cars, we will have 500 by car (1 by trim!) Okay, that's good to hear. Do you want me to delete them?

Desscythe17 2011-10-01 23:19 | Rinspeed a écrit yes there is a problem, if a specialist can change it.... according to wikipedia the first motor was only for 1970, and the second one was for 1971/72 (up to 77 for the facelifted Hornet) they also list a lot more engines for the Hornet. but it's wikipedia, so I don't trust it.
Rinspeed 2011-10-01 15:01 | Desscythe17 a écrit why are the motors 1965-1970 and 1964-1979 if the car was made from 1970 to 1972? yes there is a problem, if a specialist can change it....

2011-08-31 03:19 | This was a design practice in symmetry and interchangeable body parts. The doors were interchangeable on opposite sides, as it had rear suicide doors. The hood, trunk, and other features were also shaped the same. This would have cut down on tooling costs and made replacing parts easier. This would have also seated 6, and still been compact sized. However, this model was never made, even though it was on a postage stamp in Sharjah > upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/50/Sharjah-Stamp-1970-1-rl_Rambler.jpg Much of the styling went on to the Hornet, but the interchangeable parts did not. Also, Cavalier was going to be the name of AMC's pony car, but GM had already trademarked it, even though they did not use it until 1982. AMC instead used Javelin. -- Last edit: 2011-08-31 05:34:00

2011-02-11 21:57 | CA_NES a écrit yes, thats a picture of the inside of my old Hornet I used to have. The springs in the seats sagged so I used the phone book so I could see the road well. I see. Makes sense to me. I've heard of crazier things being used for the same purpose. (child's car seat, for example...)
