You don't need to put AWD in engine names, as it already states that the car has it after the transmission.

Should the SA version really have its own page? It's not much different from the European model, except that it's RHD. So maybe this goes on a UK version page?

I always thought this car was related to the Toyota Ipsum/Picnic (www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=5212), but apparently Kia just copied the wraparound rear window from Toyota.

South Korea sometimes copies cars from Japan.

For example:

Hyundai Sonata is actually korean Honda Accord.
orientals.web.fc2.com/koreanfake_files/accordsonata.jpg
( Sonata on the left and Accord on the right.)

Hyundai Trajet is a korean Honda Oddesey.

Trajet:

Oddesey:

NOTE: I also see a Chevrolet Venture and Mazda MPV on the Trajet.

Both. I dont like SUV-Coupe crossover BMW X6 (seriously who need that - I cant imagine anyone to wake up in the morning and say: I want car that have little headroom in back and cant go up a hill with wet grass, yet it have high ground clearance and it weigh awfully lot), but I also dont like the modern styling of the cars.

For example Peugeots used to be normal cars, not too nice but not awful either. Then came the 206 with her mouth and it was a cute car. And somebody said, if it works for 206, lets put it on every Peugeot and make it bigger. 107 (the mouth is that big that the car is capable of eating itself and poor engine need a blanket for night), 207, 307, 407 - all those had horrible design, and back then I used to say that it is not getting any worse than that. Peugeot 508 came and I was proven wrong. It is a hideous car with awful front and terrible rear.

Nissan Murano wasnt good looking car at the start, but after facelift they managed to get it just enough disgusting that it is a definition of badly designed car. Bugatti Veyron looks like a obese man in his 50s, when he finally got enough money to buy cabriolet, and he thinks that he looks cool. 2nd gen Fiat Panda is not a nice looking car, but it is okay. And that is the reason why 3rd gen got servo motor from Cadillac´s windscreen wipers as a engine and a obese look. Like it is trying to fit in same bodyshell as 2nd panda, but it ate too many cookies on Christmas holidays. Opel/Vauxhall Corsa - the one from 90s got pretty cute design, but they make it worse over the next generations. And I could go on and on and on. I left Škoda cars on purpose, since they are very common here, so it would be not very objective.

That's right. Japanese are somehow crazy with everything not just cars :) And about that big grille it's OK for V8 cars with 7.0 engine, but i don't know why this Sportage has big grille and have cutting edge cooling system installed in it.

It's true that grilles lost their function a really long time ago, but it also gives cars a more aggressive or impressive look. Without this big grille the car might look more bland and boring. (Which it already does in my opinion)

Well that's just car industry trends. There always have been and there always will be. But look at JDM cars like www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=20773 . I don't think this looks anything like the stereotypes you stated, but it is a car that sells very well in Japan. Look at the current Ford Fiesta. A car that globally sells very well, and doesn't really have any of the things you stated (except for a big grille). But a big grille has always been very popular on cars to give them a more "premium" feel, look at Lincolns or Cadillacs from the 70s for example.

And now they all look same. Big grill, small headlights and rear lights that goes across whole car and small windows so they can sell that stupid cameras for parking and night visions. There are also nice new cars(like retrp cars: MINI or Fiat 500), but they are in shadow of these money grabbers.

Really? To me most pre-WWII cars look the same. Because there wasn't a lot of technology and the car had just evolved from the horseless carriage, people didn't know what they could do with the design of a car. Even in the 50s, cars still just followed a general design trend and looked similar. I think the 60s is the time period where cars look the most original.

I agree with JFK. Just look at cars from 1920's & 1930's like Delahaye, Delage, Bugatti, SS Jaguar, Duesenberg or even cheap cars Austin, Ford, BMW, Citreon. They have bad technology back then and bad machines for making body & parts, but look how those cars look. Now it's easy to make everything but cars look too like each others.

If car design (in general) gets worse and worse with each year, I am quite curious what cars would look like in 10 years. And what I will eventually use as a car when all cars will look like this, Peugeot 508, Nissan Juke, Nissan Murano, Citroën DS5 or worse.

You mean crossovers taking over the world? Or just styling of modern cars getting worse? I personally don't think it's worse. It's just different than before, and it will always be. I think at some point we just have seen so many cars that we decide for ourselves which designs are the best, and nothing new will be able to ever surpass that. But that's not because of bad design, it's because of our not accepting that design can be different anymore.
