Because we don't know when will the car make it's debut. They said last year and then moved it to this years, but car still didn't raced. Surely by this point, it has been built though? We go off production years for US cars, why not this? |

Why does this not have a year?

I think this was sold in the UK/Europe but under a different name.

Same platform, and probably some shared parts like all GM cars. Shame the Vauxhall version never got a coupe! Then again, it might not have sold well and the Caveliar is not fondly remembered! |
||
Any relation to the Vauxhall Cavelier, another GM car of the same era?

Licence plate of that first favorit is from late 1988, although it could have been rebuilt into rally car later. The UK reg below it is 1990 (H reg) so that one should be right at least. |

I think the same factory is listed twice. Birmingham, UK is in the West Midlands.

i don't think. It's a car made for Ken Block. I think we need a One-off category. |

Should this not be a concept car?

I have heard a rumour that a right-hand drive model will be made. The whether this is for Australia, Japan, India or the UK (and therefore Europe) is unknown.

There is one of these near where I live. Either:
1. This version was sold in the UK (and possibly Europe) 2. There is a European version 3. It is a grey market import and I am wasting everyone's time. If anyone knows which it would be really helpful. Thank you in advance! |

Was this definitely sold in the UK? I have never seen one before.

Despite being a road car, this was used in the 1961 Le Mans. Both cars retired early.

I assume from the name that this was built for the President of France. If so, should we be marking other similar vehicles IE The US Presidents Cadillac or the various cars owned by British PM's and royalty over the years?

Since they are not officially made by Renault, I would say no. Otherwise, we would have to put every single customized or tuned car in that category. I would argue that that would make sense, but fair enough. |
||
Since these are all based on old Renaults should we not put the cars they are based on under 'similar cars' or 'other body styles'?
|
||
Should this not just be listed as a special edition of the regular LFA?
|
||
This was based on a Diablo concept car by Peter Bohanna but I am not sure how much he put towards this car (if any). Shall I name him as a designer or just leave it?

That's the front end of a Chevy Corvair!

Sadly, Malcolm Sayer would die before the car was greenlit for production.

Total production and presentation confused?

It looks like a baby Porsche It reminds me a lot of the Renault DeZir concept from a few years back. |

Was the Nismo special edition just a paint job or did it improve performance?

1/10? Really? No! I was distracted while entering it. 1/55 would be accurate. Sorry! |

UK should be yes not no. I misclicked!
Sorry! |

I'm pretty sure it was sold throughout Europe as Suzuki Swift. Not sure about any GM brands. That might have been it. I knew I'd seen something like this before! |
||
These were not sold in the UK but I'm pretty sure GM had a rebadged version on sale here.

It was upgraded through the years. Often changing classes and with that car was modified. But body and engine always stayed the same. Aha right. Cheers for clearing that up for me! |
