When Lonsdale went bust, Mitsubishi decided to export the Sigma to the UK anyway. Merkur cars are German Fords that were not available to the American market in other ways. |

It didn't really work, and was a pretty dumb idea in hindsight. Oh. So it was like Merkur, but more short-lived. I bet they will be collectors item someday. |
