Sadly GM has announced they will terminate the Holden brand by 2021, meaning this 164-year old marque will come to an end.

Specifics for engines and transmissions. I worked on Commodores quite a bit so I'm covered for those, but the stuff like Kingswoods, Monaros and the like are a bit rusty on me. By specifics I mean horses, torque, and what years they were available in them.

    I ain't trusting Wikipedia. :/

Try automobile-catalog, they seem to have a lot of info on Holdens.

Why is it a problem? There are few people contributing to this website, and lots of cars out there, so there is bound to be missing cars.
What kind of assistance do you need?

Do you guys realize how much of a problem it is that we're missing the entire 1970s?
Like seriously, I'd already have it half complete, but I don't know if my information is hefty enough to make pages for cars, so if I could get any assistance from you gentlemen it would be appreciated.

So I did some maintenance on this page, as the line-up was completely outdated. Unfortunately, I can't add any new cars since the current Holden website doesn't list specifications for its cars (whatever happened to informing the consumer?)...

TLDR: The Holden page will be empty for the foreseeable future.

I don't think they will be built in New Zealand, because the whole problem is the Australian Dollar, so maybe they'll produce everything else in South Korea and the USA. I'm afraid the Commodore will be discontinued though, seeing as its sales aren't even close to what they were once. Maybe if the Chevrolet SS is a success in the US (I doubt it), they will make a successor for it, and badge engineer it into a Holden so that the Commodore can live on?
