![]() ![]() 2021-11-12 20:36 | Current pics are of the Enclave Avenir. I will replace them with pics of the standard trim level when/if these become available and move the Avenir to the special edition/trim differences section.
![]() 2020-07-06 05:17 | Interesting story about this concept. GM was looking to incorporate a Left-Hand Drive version of Holden's Commodore into the Buick lineup in the US, GM and Buick getting involved with the development of the VT Commodore. This concept car was the result of it, after Holden was provided with the funds for necessary engineering changes. The project, called 'Project 127' was cancelled in early 1994, but Holden used what they learned from it, and not only did the styling of the XP2000 become the basis for the design of the VT, but also developed LHD versions of the VT for parts of mainland southeast Asia and the Middle East as the Chevrolet Lumina, and Brazil as the Chevrolet Omega. And, in the long term, eventually led to the development of the Pontiac GTO, G8, Chevrolet SS and Caprice for the US market, LHD versions of the VZ Monaro, VE Commodore, VF Commodore, and WM/WN Caprice, respectively...and possibly playing a part in the creation of the Opel Omega based Cadillac Catera.
![]() 2020-04-28 02:27 | Not often does a concept car evolve into another concept car before eventually going into production. The Centieme is one of those rare examples. It's overall design was smoothed out and refined three years later as the Enclave concept, before itself went into production one year after that.
![]() 2020-04-28 02:23 | Concept predecessor to the 1992 Skylark redesign, though the production car's nose was a good bit different. The Skylark's 1996 facelift actually looked more like the Bolero in the front than the 92-95 models.
![]() 2020-04-28 02:21 | Shouldn't this technically be of German origin, since, even in concept form, it's still an Opel Insignia?

![]() ![]() 2019-12-05 09:08 | carcrasher88 a crit Also, the LaCrosse still needs to be removed from current road cars, as that went out of production in North America back in February 15th of this year. Its my general policy to take cars out of the current car section when they are removed from the brands official website, not when their production halts.
![]() 2019-12-05 03:58 | It's been officially confirmed today that the North American market Regal will be discontinued after the 2020 model year, leaving Buick with a lineup of four crossover utility vehicles. The Regal will continue in China, though. That includes the GS and surprisingly decent selling TourX models. Also, the LaCrosse still needs to be removed from current road cars, as that went out of production in North America back in February 15th of this year.
![]() 2019-11-27 02:17 | It's not a rebadged Opel at all. This uses the GM VSS-F Platform, while the Crossland X uses the PSA PF1 Platform. Completely unrelated.
![]() ![]() 2019-11-22 16:08 | CeilingHamster a crit I thought it looked quite similar to the Crossland/Mokka. I've looked again and it is a subtly different design but you can't deny the similarities. Well both the Mokka and this car were designed by GM Korea, so they have some similarities. -- Last edit: 2019-11-22 16:08:49

![]() 2018-12-01 23:32 | Likely to end production sometime around 2020/2021, likely to be replaced with a new model shared with the likely next generation Chevrolet Malibu, may not see a Holden version, as the current Commodore that's related to the Regal/Insignia has halted production because of slow sales, along with other Chevrolet based Holden cars being discontinued in the next couple of years.
![]() 2017-11-30 04:00 | Switched Canada to NO, as it's been confirmed that only the Regal Sportback will be offered there, making the TourX a US exclusive model (no word on whether it or the Sportback will be offered in Mexico yet).
![]() ![]() 2017-10-07 20:58 | Desscythe17 a crit Rinspeed, is it somehow possible to make conversions (inches -> cm, lbs -> kg, gal -> L) more accurate or precise? I often use data from American websites, and it's often wrong because the system doesn't convert it correctly. i will see that when i will have some time. I don't know if i can do better.

![]() 2017-07-20 04:11 | The latest Regal GS (to be sold by Opel as the Insignia GSi) packs a serious punch. Powered by a 3.6 liter V6 with 310 horsepower, the LGX from the LaCrosse, it's got 20 more horsepower than a comparable Acura TLX A-Spec (290 hp from a 3.5 J35Y V6) and 4 more than a comparable Lexus IS350 F-Sport (306 hp from a 3.5 2GR-FSE V6). Nine-speed automatic, AWD, and Continuous Damping Control as standard. Starting price will be #39,990, including destination charges.

![]() ![]() 2016-06-05 16:13 | That's too bad, it means I can't make a Buick (Europe) page so I don't clutter the American Buick page. I'm not going to add it right now anyway, so maybe there will be a different solution in the future. -- Last edit: 2016-06-05 16:15:10
![]() 2016-06-05 15:58 | I tried to find something, but all other Buicks that drive around in Germany have no amber turn lights or other differences. The Buick Regal must be a favorite under US fans, as that car can be found relatively often at online car dealerships. Here are at least 10 different models: www.dasparking.de/gebrauchtwagen/buick-regal-deutschland.html#!/gebrauchtwagen/buick-regal-deutschland.html%3Fid_modele%3D1183

![]() ![]() 2016-05-25 00:48 | Formerly sold only in China, this summer the Envision will also appear on the American market. FWD is expected next year. Although this has not officially been stated, I believe this car is the true successor to the Buick Rendezvous, which was discontinued in 2007 in favor of the way bigger Enclave.
