Rather Korean origin, I think it´s not even available in the US.
It´s actually US origin.
Not available with a CVT in Germany.
I thought the CR-Z was only available with a 6-speed manual gearbox? However, in Germany it isn´t and wasn´t available with a CVT.

I´d prefer this pic for the rear: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ford_Mondeo_Turnier_rear_20071025.jpg

@Ford78: I know that the US Focus has some other details like the orange sidemarkers, but these are just necessary modifications for the US market.
german origin, as it was the concept car for the new C-Max (which is also german origin)
Was available in Germany. Here is a german brochure: www.produkte24.com/cy/ford-deutschland-939/ford-maverick-prospekt-2006-1244/

@Ford78: See the last proof I´ve listed. All Focuses are german origin.
Why is it still listed as model origin: USA?
PS: and obviously all the other Focuses as well -- Last edit: 2013-02-15 21:26:11 |

Here, I´ve got two other proofs:
de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Focus (Although it was developed by the European dependent company, it was a success in the US) www.presseportal.de/pm/6955/2281423/ford-europa-beruft-ford-focus-und-c-max-konstrukteur-gunnar-herrmann-zum-vizepraesidenten-fuer (... he managed the car body development in Germany of the Mk I Focus...) |
And I´m pretty sure that it was developed by Ford Europe. Have you got any proofs, that it was developed by Ford Motor Corp.?
But the Focus was developed by Ford of Europe (Köln-Niehl, Germany) and here are some proofs, that it should be listed as german origin:

de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Explorer (first sentence, available in Europe from 1993 to 2001) www.imcdb.org/vehicle_524699-Ford-Explorer-1997.html www.imcdb.org/vehicle_414045-Ford-Explorer-UN150-1998.html www.imcdb.org/vehicle_343225-Ford-Explorer-1995.html |

It was indeed made in the US and especially made for the US, but it´s basically a MkI Focus Turnier (Wagon, 1998-2004). Just with a few modifications.
Will be available in Germany in a few months.
Actually, it was available in Germany!
german origin!
Yes, it was sold here.
1.0 l engines with 100 hp and 125 hp are called 1.0 EcoBoost.
EcoBoost should be added to the 1.0 l engines with 100 and 125 hp.
The 2.5 Duratec 5-cylinder has 200 hp not 220 hp. S-Max and Mondeo had 220 hp.
Yes it was sold in Germany, but just 1,5 years (2008/2009).
Just built in Tuscaloosa (USA) not in Sindelfingen.
Alright, thanks for that info and sorry for this mistake.
