the word "Countryman" was cut off for the 2012 Rally Dakar www.dakar.com/dakar/2012/de/fahrer/302.html

i am not 100 % sure, so i want to know your opinion. This car has help from Toyota South Africa and i think it came from the same work as a normal Hilux. So is it made in "Prospecton, South Africa" (near Isipingo Beach)?
built until 2010.
i wasn't the contributor but i like it this way. Especially because there is a real BMW 550i on the market, so you can better differ both cars.

german car magazine states that Proton cars are sold in Greece, UK and Cyprus
do you mean these aliens in second picture or the car? ^^
german car magazine says the production was closed in 2011 due to the successor "ZAZ Forza", so i think they either haven't refreshed their website or there are still some models in the factory that aren't sold.

the Sens is based off the "Lanos"/"Chance", but it has the entry-level equipment to be cheaper as the Lanos, so they gave him different name.
in Russia its called "Chance", in Ukraine "Lanos".
according to my car catalogue the Sens is still in production and like fck said which my catalogue confirmes, the Sens is just the Lanos with engines built by ZAZ. Lanos has older engines from other manufacturers. They dont state which engines but most presumably old Daewoo engines. -- Last edit: 2013-10-09 10:45:46 |

i confirm that this is called "Toyota Crown Sedan". Sedan is in the name to differ from all the other Crowns and is official part.
german car magazine says "LFA".
they are still sold in italy too as low-budget car.
thats wrong, Sprint cup is first class, Nationwide second ;-)
if you call the other cars "Nationwide Series" then you should rename this also to "Sprint Cup Series"
added engine info from here www.toyotaracing.com/motorsports/nscs/specs.html -- Last edit: 2011-10-05 09:20:49 |

oh come on, Chrysler does get more and more ridicolous. Chryslers get rebadged to Lancias, Dodges to Fiats and Lancias get rebadged to Chrysler!!
My opinion is i want to buy a Chrysler and not a rebadged Lancia. I want to buy a Dodge with a Dodge-Badge and not a Fiat-Badge. I would never buy a Fiat Freemont, beacuse it has no Dodge-Badge! How far will this sheme go down in its niveau?? |

more a mix up of Mazda 2 (front) and Ford Ka (back) ^^

there is 2 front grill depends of the trim yep, Avantgarde and classis have two different grills. One with the "star" in the grille and one with the "star" on the hood. This schould be a "classic" trim model. btw, its "Sindelfingen" not Sindelfilgen |

A privatly driven D-Max with some help from Isuzu. It was driven by "Bruce Garland" and build by Garland Motorsports.
Garland Motorsports HQ are in Sydney, Australia. German car magazine states, that it was "test driven in New South Wales", so i suppose, it was also built in Sydney. |

as Team Engstler is using the old WTCC-cars in the PROCAR series, should i add the procar results too?
then the first shuanghuan came, i thought, its only random that it shares the name with BMW cars. But now that they putted the "i" behind, this seems deliberately...

its simply for a better link recognition.

GT1 was never part of the name. And Chevrolet was also cut off but only after the middle of his "life".
www.corvetteracing.com/cars/c6r/c6r.shtml Couldn't we simply make "Corvette" an extra make?? Chevrolet did this by themself, they wanted Corvette to be apart from Chevrolet... Oh and not to forget, its C6.R, why everyone forgets the POINT?? -- Last edit: 2011-07-28 11:28:53 |
