Sold as the Mercury Cougar in the States Correct. The Ford Cougar is sold as the Mercury Cougar in the US. But each version needs a seperate page -- Last edit: 2011-06-13 05:30:21 |

I saw a Ford Cougar in the Seattle area recently. Was this sold in Mexico or Canada as the Ford as opposed to as a Mercury? Anyone know?

Not that I can think of. Maybe it's a Mercury, but with Ford Cougar parts? (I remember seeing an Acura RSX done up like a JDM Integra Type R once)

That's what I was thinking someone just badged it as a Ford themselves, but it's such a boring car I couldn't conceive spending the effort to find the parts. I could see changing the Ford to a Mercury in Europe wanting to make it how it is in it's main market like the RSX into an Integra here, but I can't fathom the opposite.

Personnaly, this a very crap Ford, i prefer an Acura RSX instead of. I think if Ford make it with V8 and RWD, she make her better.
