I'm not sure I understand. It looks just like trim levels, but I thought we weren't going to do those? Because I don't see a difference between the Twingo and the Twingo Limited on the outside. Furthermore, I can add special editions as in special trims, but I don't think I have lists of equipment that come with those special editions.

Twingo limited had specifics Wheels, Interior... It's not a big change but it's a limited edition.
For the rules, we put all the limited editions/Special eidtions we want (even if there isn't a lot of changes) and as equipments, we put only specifics equipments (additonnals) to the car. And equipment is not an obligation even if it's better.

Perhaps to simplify the things, for those who put equipments, we could put only specific equipments of the limited edition. It could be easier. What do you think? If it's the case, i will erase some equipments.

Question: What would Silica mineral paint classify under? Metallic?

Basically, there are three kinds of paint:
Solid, metallic and pearlescent.
Solid is what I meant with gloss, it's standard paint used on most cars in the past and some (basic white, red or black) on new cars.
Metallic is extra sparkly and looks better. In the past it was used on "premium" cars, nowadays almost every car has metallic paint.
Pearlescent is paint with a different color over it, which makes it look as if the car changes color if you look at a different angle.

Solid> nothing to put, basic paint
M for metallic, P for perlescent (Nacré for us). It seems that there is a lot of Pearlescent Paint now.

if we don't have pictures, we could put only the name also. Perhaps after someone else can add the pic.
For info 2 pts by color, 3 pts by pic.
Gloss? Laqué in French? i don't think there is a lot of cars with that. But in the future if we have some cars with others paints, i can add it.

Well, I think finding pictures with the different colors is the hardest part. It would be easier of course if we could just put the names of different colors, although it doesn't really give people an idea of what the color looks like, so that might be a bad idea.

I'm going to change to pearled to pearlescent, since I believe that that's the English name for it.

p.s. What about other kinds of paint? There are lots of cars that don't have metallic or pearlescent paint, like gloss for example.

if i had put peraled, i was wrong, it's for pearled. It's Nacré in French, i don't know if it's the good translation. If it's not correct, please correct it in the system of lang.
And for old cars, i know, we will do what we can... Perhaps it will be only for recent cars. I think also it could interest some members because it's more easy to put a color of a car than a complete car.

It's a cool feature, but it's going to be difficult for cars that aren't being sold anymore.
One question: "Type M if the paint is metallic, P if it is peraled, otherwise leave blank".
With peraled, do you mean pearlescent?

New feature on IGCD: You can add colors of a car with pics.
There is some things to translate or verify in english.
You can also tranlate Colors to have them in your language (if it exist in your country, put it, if not translate it). Next time the color appears on another car (with the same make), it will be automatically traduct.
