My understanding is that it was a joint project of both Nissan Japan and Nissan UK but since Nissan HQ is in Japan it should be kept as Japan unless it would be possible to add both the UK and Japan

I’m not sure how big of a part they played in the development of the Terrano II, since that article also mentions the Micra which was developed in Japan.
Beside that, Japanese cars that are intended for the American market and maybe also developed there, are all listed as Japanese origin on WCS. It would be strange to make an exception for this particular model that was maybe partially developed in the UK.

I think the name should be Terrano II.
