2018-11-24 03:28 | When people hear the Pacifica nameplate, they think of the mid-00's CUV that used the nameplate, but the reality is...today's Pacifica minivan actually owes it's existence to this concept, based on the Town & Country of the era with LHS styling cues. The Pacifica that went into production 3-4 years later? That draws it's lineage back to the Citadel concept from the same year as this, which evolved into the 2002 Pacifica concept that previewed the production model. Now, the Pacifica nameplate has gone back to it's minivan roots, while the Citadel nameplate has been re-assigned as a top of the line Dodge Durango trim level. Full circle, I'd say. |
