![]() 2017-07-20 03:58 | Four major details about this new Accord: 1. No more V6 power for the Accord, only 1.5 liter and 2 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines, plus the Hybrid. 2. The 2 liter turbo four, while not DIRECTLY sourced from the Civic Type-R, shares much of it's design with the Type-R's engine. 3. The Hybrid model (US spec) will once again be built in the US (Marysville, Ohio) after being built in Japan for the last few years. 4. This is the first Accord where the Sport trim level (formerly only offered as a slightly more powerful version of the base 4 cylinder engine, not the V6) will be offered on BOTH non-hybrid powertrains of the Accord. The tenth generation Accord will make it to dealers this fall, likely only the 1.5 and 2.0 versions, with the Hybrid likely to follow soon after. |
