I always thought this car was related to the Toyota Ipsum/Picnic (www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=5212), but apparently Kia just copied the wraparound rear window from Toyota.

South Korea sometimes copies cars from Japan.

For example:

Hyundai Sonata is actually korean Honda Accord.
