![]() ![]() 2015-11-09 08:48 | Fun fact: Mitsubishi planned to build 1000 of these as a limited edition, but the car was critized so much by the press for being ugly, that production halted after only 139 cars. -- Last edit: 2015-11-09 08:50:01
![]() ![]() 2015-11-08 15:49 | carcrasher88 wrote Shame Mitsubishi never brought this to the US, especially considering Subaru did something similar in 1998 with the Legacy SUS (basically a sedan version of the Outback Limited). This might have ended up being quite popular here. They probably were afraid a large hatchback like this wouldn't be popular. Perhaps they could've made a offroady version of the regular Galant sedan, but I don't think that car is suitable for such bodywork.

![]() ![]() 2015-09-11 19:47 | I found on one magazine in report about Dakar 2006 werid looking self-appointed Mitsubishi Terrano. I think that it is meant to be joke, since i did not found out anything on internet about it: Magazine says, quote: Mitsubishi Terrano (?!?) - One of the worst looking car (and worst made) was driven in Dakar convoy by Miguel Prieto from Spain. Because 3rd stage was already in africa, this car could look into black continent. I dont remember that this car, which is odd (starts with the name), could make it into 3rd or 4th stage. This year it was not different. I googled the driver and I did not found anything about that he was driving that 90s looking beated up Dakar racing pickup.

It could be formatted like for example: 5-Speed Manual would be 5MT, 4-Speed Automatic 4AT. Please tell me what you think, because it could shorten the names on lots of engines, and it would probably be more tidy and clearer to see which engine has which transmission. done
