Rinspeed 2013-01-09 22:45 | Desscythe17 wrote Hey Rinspeed, a question for you. Was the last generation Renault 5 badged as Supercinq in France, or is it just a nickname like the germans use Dreier/3er for the BMW 3-Series? i think it's only badged Renault 5 but called by Renault as Supercinq

2012-08-24 15:36 | Technically, you're right, as there was another Safrane between this and the original. From 2008-10, the Safrane was a rebadged second generation SM5. This being a rebadged 3rd generation SM5, that would indeed make this a 3rd generation Safrane.

2012-08-24 15:18 | I think is 3rd generation Safrane....

Desscythe17 2012-08-23 16:42 | After ten years of the fourth generation Espace, I still find it the most beautiful MPV on the market. It's really incredible how time-proof its design is.

fck 2012-01-10 15:02 | It was designed to mark a 50th anniversary of the Renault 4CV. I'm curious when Renault will produce a retro-styled car like Mini or Fiat 500...

Rinspeed 2011-12-19 16:18 | New feaure: for each "car of the day", yu can gain more points by completing them. If you complete a car of the day (in the time that is a car of the day), the points are X5 so for 1 picture 25pts instead of 5 and for each info 5 pts instead of 1

2011-10-19 17:19 | Yes, it was only the first 2 years of the original that were called Mégane Scénic. When Renault facelifted the Mégane Scénic in 1999 (Série 1, Phase 2), the official name became Scénic, though a Mégane badge did remain on the rear, probably to identify the vehicle's origin, for at least the '99 model. Feel free to correct anything I got wrong.
Rinspeed 2011-10-18 20:50 | Mark0 wrote OK. But on every Scenic they have booth Megane & Scenic badge. Scenic badge on rear of car (trunk). Megane badge is between 2nd(rear door window) & 3rd window. i dont think. Officially, only the first not lifted is called Mégane Scénic

Sandie 2011-10-18 17:21 | From 97-99 yes. As of the first generation facelift model just Scenic.
Mark0 2011-10-18 13:47 | Aren't this cars officialy called Megane Scenic instead of just Scenic?

Desscythe17 2011-08-09 14:03 | I dunno, in that case you would get different production years, since the GT and Gordini versions aren't released at the same time, or are they?
