2012-08-24 15:36 | Technically, you're right, as there was another Safrane between this and the original. From 2008-10, the Safrane was a rebadged second generation SM5. This being a rebadged 3rd generation SM5, that would indeed make this a 3rd generation Safrane. |

2011-10-19 17:19 | Yes, it was only the first 2 years of the original that were called Mgane Scnic. When Renault facelifted the Mgane Scnic in 1999 (Srie 1, Phase 2), the official name became Scnic, though a Mgane badge did remain on the rear, probably to identify the vehicle's origin, for at least the '99 model. Feel free to correct anything I got wrong. |
