JFK 2016-01-10 23:31 | This generation of Corsa started price war in Czech Republic. It was only a bit more expensive than domectic Skoda, and thanks to that these cars are regulary seen on roads even today.

Desscythe17 2015-07-17 19:05 | carcrasher88 wrote This should really be listed as being of South Korean origin, as all variants of this (the Karl, the Vauxhall Viva for the UK market, and the Chevrolet Spark) in GM Korea's facility in Changwon. That really depends on whether the Karl was designed at Opel or at GM Korea. I don't know which of the two had most influence on the car, but that one should be origin.

2013-10-28 18:44 | Road version for homologation for WRC Rally. His rally version just made his debut in Rally Sweden 1984, because although Kadett GT/E ran in from RAC rally, it was run as a Vauxhall, NOT OPEL!!!! I'm sorry for the picture, but it was my best as I could... The picture is from Kenneth Eriksson, in Sweden 1984. www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=16447 -- Last edit: 2013-10-28 18:49:15

Rinspeed 2013-01-18 14:12 | Ford78 wrote Rinspeed!!!! Why theres 15 4th´s on 8th round of Dakar 2013? because the race was stopped with a river that grow quickly. Only 4 cars had passed before the river grow. So they put for the fours cars their times, and for the others that cant pass, the time of the 4th. Same case with the 11th stage but with the 21th that passed and after the others cars had the sime time than the 21th.

Sandie 2012-12-28 20:02 | sajmon14 is right, it has Opel on it only because it was entered by the GM dealersport team (this was towards the end of time that there were dealers that sold both Opel and Vauxhall). It was badged as a GTE (the Vauxhall version) and the picture is from the 1988 Lombard RAC Rally where entry number 15 was a Vauxhall Astra GTE raced by Derek Bell and Micheal Nicholson. There was an Opel Kadett in that rally but from the GM Europe team, no 23 raced by Mats Jonsson and Lars Backman. -- Last edit: 2012-12-28 20:06:41
