2022-01-17 01:51 | I take it this was FAW's attempt to make a self-branded version of the second generation Volkswagen Jetta, which they were already building for VW as part of their joint venture?
JFK 2015-11-01 16:42 | I dont see any legroom! And interior is made from recycled plastics used in Daewoo Nexias and Hyundai Ponys... Urgh!
JFK 2015-11-01 16:38 | Desscythe17 wrote Bright hard plastics? No, thank you. Well at least they are not copying design of european cars. Yes, the fact that everything will break down and fall apart five minutes from now is true.

Rinspeed 2011-08-20 10:42 | Desscythe17 wrote Why does the rear say Xiali C1, isn't that a very different car? No it's this car. It's because FAW had bought Xiali another make and at the beginning, they don't know if they will sold under the make FAW or the make Xiali (FAW Vita or Xiali C1 see the FAW C1 for the concept car). So they sold it under "FAW Xiali" but i put all under FAW (because of the logo). FAW Xiali is just branch of FAW like if you want Renault and Renault Trucks. FAW Xiali is the branch for cheap and little cars.

Desscythe17 2011-08-19 21:24 | the grill looks a lot like the american Honda grill.
Desscythe17 2011-08-19 15:41 | I believe this is a rebadged Toyota Premio.
Desscythe17 2011-08-19 15:39 | yeah, it's indeed one of the better chinese manufacturers.

2011-08-19 15:15 | Yes, it is. FAW has contract agreements with many automakers, including Toyota and VW, that allow them to build and sell rebadged versions of heir cars. That's why I'm quite fond of FAW for not (at least not always, I think) copying other car designs.
Desscythe17 2011-08-19 12:02 | I'm pretty sure this car is built on the approval of Toyota.

2011-04-20 18:02 | Nice looking. If FAW's designs are as safe as they are good looking, I wouldn't mind them coming to the US.
