this car was designed by engineers from Shanghai and the old Rover plant in Longbridge (called SMTC UK now), but they sat in China while designing it.

btw, they only sell the MG brand in the UK while a Roewe sale in europe is still not planned. Belarus is an exception, where some Roewe cars are sold.
