2018-01-07 20:30		When introducing the first generation Altima, Nissan parodied two iconic Lexus commercials, 'Balance' (1989, LS400) and 'Ball Bearing' (1992, ES300).

In both commercials, they still remained complimentary of Lexus, but also showed that their affordable midsizer could perform just as well, all at a starting price of $13,000 (equal to a little over $22,000 in 2017).

A version of the 'Balance' parody was also made for the Hong Kong market Bluebird in 1994.
