![]() 2016-04-19 04:10 | Been trying to find the Dune on other country's VW sites... - Unsure about Spain, because I'm having difficulties navigating their site, same with Romania, and India's VW site doesn't give much for information on the Beetle. - Sweden is a YES. - Turkey is a NO, along with South Africa, Russia, Malaysia, Italy, Indonesia (in fact, the Beetle isn't offered there at all), France, China, Saudi Arabia, and Argentina. That leaves three countries that are listed undetermined.
![]() 2016-04-18 16:39 | Looks like VW has thought it over about putting the Dune into production. (it was originally a 2000 concept car)
![]() 2016-04-18 04:59 | Checked South Korea, Australia, Japan, and Brasil. None of them have the Dune listed, so they're NOs, at least for now. I'm certain that if it's offered here, it'll probably be available in Canada as well. Edit: Dune confirmed for the UK market. Edit 2: No Dune on the Canadian VW site. Edit 3: Confirmed, the Dune is available in the Mexican market. -- Last edit: 2016-04-18 05:07:08

![]() 2015-09-28 21:43 | Desscythe17 wrote Yes they have a huge problem right now. Serves them right, in the Netherlands for example, the amount of taxes you have to pay for your car is very dependent of how ecofriendly the car is. Now Volkswagen has been the bestselling car manufacturer in the Netherlands since 2005. As Dutch people are generally cheapskates, I wonder if VW would have done so well if they hadn't cheated. I just got informed that it also affects the Audi, Skoda and Seat cars.

That's 4 you just mentioned, but anyway, I would do VW Europe instead of Germany, and I think a Mexico page would also be useful. More obviously, China, as 5 million different models are sold there.

When I look for 1998/1999 Volkswagen Polos, many don't have those exterior features. I also find pre-1998 Polos with white indicators and smoked taillights, but that may be the result of this generation Polo as a popular tuning car.
