Just wondering if anyone had an opinion on how to name these engines.
From the late 70s on, when American cars switched from cu (302) to cc (4942), Ford sold its 4942cc V8 engine as the 5.0 Ford Windsor, which of course should be 4.9.
Should I list it as 5.0, because that is how Ford sold it? Or should I list it as 4.9, because that is correct?

I guess kind of fuel affects it also at specific rpm as placed above or might have diff modes. Again the car is very vague till now not much has been specified yet So we will see later on this year. No dimensions on the car at all

Well, I think Rinspeed will reject it, as you didn't add the engine, but you really need some dimensions like length, width, height if you want to add it to the website. Of course, the best thing would be to wait until the car enters production and the car is no longer a mystery.

About the specs you posted, why does it first say 5007 hp and then 3006 hp?

GT40 is alittle old for a predecessor, GT 2017 is a successor. And for the difference origin/made in. Made in is the place where the cars is construct. Origin, is more for the origin make, the origin decision to make the car...

It's difficult with global vehicles like these. Ford is an American company, and the Fusion launched 2 years before the Mondeo, so that would be reason for US origin. However, the Mondeo has always been a German Ford, and a big part of the design and mechanicals was probably done in Europe, which is reason for German origin. I personally don't think German origin would make sense on this car, but it's not really my decision what origin the Mondeo is.

Just a note about the pickups no longer in production I have been adding: My main source does not have specs for them, so I got specs from Autoblog and some other decent-looking sites. Sadly, Autoblog only gives specs for the standard engines and not the optional engines, so some specifications (weight in particular) might be off or missing.

I think that can just be added to Special Editions on this car (2008 though, not 2008-2012). Apart from the grille and the spoiler, it's not different enough to require a seperate page. I also think a Ford (Middle East) isn't necessary.
