Reading the press release, Borgward doesn't call it a 'Sport Utility Coupe', like brands like Mercedes-Benz would, nor 'Sport Activity Coupe' like BMW, instead they call it what it really is, a 'SUV Sport Saloon'. That makes a lot more sense, because a coupe traditionally has 2 doors, not 4 (along with older 2-door sedans), whereas these SUV 'coupes' (GLE Coupe, X6, X4) and '4-door coupes' (CLS, 6 Gran Coupe, A7) aren't coupes at all. Borgward is literally telling it what it is, more in line with Subaru's sedan version of the Outback from the 90's-early 00's, which they called a 'Sport Utility Sedan', or SUS. And for that, I applaud them.

Desscythe17 2016-03-01 14:56 | Yes, I think Borgward will not be very successful outside of China. They're like Qoros, thinking they can penetrate the European market, only Borgward is a classic name. -- Last edit: 2016-03-01 15:00:49
