Desscythe17 2016-03-13 10:25 | Wait, what? It's in production already? I thought they only had a concept at Geneva.
JFK 2016-03-12 23:48 | Finally Citroen made car that I like! Shame about the engine though.
JFK 2016-02-02 23:11 | Interesting fact - this car is so heavy on front, so you can deattach one wheel from back and it will still ride absolutely fine, also thanks to the hydropneumatic suspension.
Desscythe17 2016-01-24 01:33 | I would go out of my way to find an older French car with yellow headlights. You see them every now then over here, and I've always really liked them.
JFK 2016-01-24 01:01 | Rinspeed wrote It's from the 2nd world war. French put yellow lights to do a difference with german and after that was obligatory until 1993 Oh, that is a clever idea. I guess it was pointless after the WWII ended, but yellow light is far less irritating and annoying than the xenon lights these days.
Rinspeed 2016-01-23 23:31 | JFK wrote The position of rear lights is odd for me, but on the other hand I like the front end with those double headlights a lot. Anyways, perhaps Rinspeed could know why there are yellow lights on older french cars? It's from the 2nd world war. JFK 2015-12-12 13:49 | If I understood wiki article about 2CV correctly, there were 47 cars produced as "prototypes" and there was also a pilot run that produced 250 cars "for sale". these cars were never sold, since intended premiere of this car was in october, but month before it, France declared war.
Desscythe17 2015-12-06 10:44 | JFK wrote Guys, you can just leave it I was just curious about it, but no harm done if we just leave it as unknown/modified car. There is quite a riot on IGCD right now (mainly because GTA V Stratum and annoying Burn Rubber, who is extinguishing fire with gas on all pages), and surely no-one here wants to transfer it here Difference is, this isn't part of a car on the website, so it doesn't really matter who is right. I just wanted to figure out what car this is, but it's probably just a custom car. P.S. I just went to IGCD to read this argument you mentioned, and I have to say it's funny reading material.

Desscythe17 2015-11-27 16:49 | Mieguy wrote Uhm that is incorrect. Several rumors are currently swarming the internet: Citroen C5 number 4 will be built in China. A cooperation with Opel and a body share with the next Insignia were discussesd, but Citroen and Opel started arguing and they both split up according to german newspaper "Die Welt". Not sure if they will finally do it. And Citroen has already confirmed that the C5 successor will have no hydropneumatic anymore (no Citroen will have it anymore). It's only rumors though. I personally would understand if Citroën dropped the C5. Sedans are so impopular in Europe, and the station wagon probably has a lot of competition from the DS 5. Perhaps they will continue it for China or call a DS model over there its successor. -- Last edit: 2015-11-27 16:50:12

Rinspeed 2015-05-03 17:00 | Gamer wrote My book said the Cocorico was presented in 1985, because the French soccer team had just become European champion the previous year. My sources said that it's for Mondial championship in 1986 for French Team and like the french team didn't go to final, they doesn't put reference to French Team on it, just the decoration.

Desscythe17 2013-07-30 19:32 | I guess the one on the first picture is a lower trim level then, as it doesn't have as much chrome as the second picture. Still, I'm surprised, because I don't think Citroën has given different trim levels such radical differences in the past. Edit: I've done some searching around on the official sites, and the second picture/pictures on the car page are of the C4 Picasso Exclusive, while the first picture in my comment is of the base C4 Picasso, so I think the name of the car page should be changed to C4 Picasso Exclusive. -- Last edit: 2013-07-30 19:38:42 |
