they changed Orion to Escort name but dunno when, I tought they changed in 1992 but on wiki it says it was in 1995, in 1993 Ford released a new facelift of the car so it needs a separeated page.

I think it was 1993/94 for the Orion/Escort change over. The Orions with the facelift had a chrome bar across the grill that the later Escorts lacked.

Well, second the Wikipedia:
"In September 1993, Ford deleted the Orion nametag, and the Escort nameplate was used on all bodystyles."
