Strangely enough, as the cars are marked for either developing markets (x01) and traditional markets (x08), this is sold in Mexico along side the 207, 208, and 308, according to the Mexican Peugeot website.

yeah they did this because there already was a 309 and they gone out of numbers ^^

i know there also was a 301 before, but they gave a good explanation why they chose 301 and 308 as the new numbers.

i think they sell 301 and 308 in mexico to have the old and the new model for a while? like the old Zafira B still is being sold in germany?
