Apparently a lot of this concept was co-developed with Magna International. So, I guess this car is part Japanese, part Canadian.

Are Sony entering the car market or is this just a one-off thing?

I could see Sony and Magna teaming up with a Japanese automotive manufacturer to make this car a reality, though. Maybe a car like this could be the technological shot in the arm Nissan (which already has a close relationship with Sony through Gran Turismo) could use.
