I'll bet that the CT6 ends up being moved to Lansing Grand River Assembly, where the Alpha platform Cadillacs and Camaro are built, since the Omega platform under the CT6 is related to the Alpha, and a lot of the tooling can then be loaded up on trucks and moved a rather short distance to LGRA.

According to Google, it's 89 miles between the two plants, and about an hour and eighteen minutes of a drive. That also means that employees from D-H Assembly can easily be moved to LGRA to build CT6s there. It's smart and would certainly be cost effective.

Along with the Chevrolet Sonic, Cruze, Impala, Volt, Cadillac ATS, CTS and XTS, this was planned to be discontinued after the 2019 model year.
However, GM apparently now is planning to move production of the CT6 elsewhere instead of discontinuing it, leaving Cadillac with at least one sedan in its lineup.
