Does anyone have suggestions on what to do with this page?

I thought it was important for Audi USA to have its own page, mainly because of the models from the 70s and 80s that look very different from their European counterparts. If we are looking at the more modern models however, 2000+ and especially 2010+, they all look extremely similar to the European models, to the point where I think it's difficult to justify a separate page for the American market model (I also don't think the engine options are very different).

I am thinking about maybe deleting some of the newer models, merging them with the European models, or leaving them as they are. What do you guys think? Should I keep adding new American market Audis to this page?

I think that you should continue adding new American market Audis to the Page, as their headlights and front lights are different compared to the European Models...

i think 2 pages are ok. I think i will also search a new presentation for make in the future (when i will do WCS V3) with perhaps a make an diferents sections like that:
Toyota
Select a country
> Japan
> Europe
> USA
> China
...
and it will done the models sold in the country instead of having a lot of differents makes just with the differents countries

That sounds good! I would be in favor of “select a country”.

I was also wondering if it would be a good idea to change the “car is sold in country” section. Instead of having green and red dots, have only green dots show up, or just the flags of the counties where it was sold. I think knowing a car was *not* sold in “country x” is not very interesting. Maybe also have the option to select a country ourselves, so for example, a Renault Clio wasn’t sold in the USA, so the US flag doesn’t show up on the Clio page at all. But then you select it was sold in Portugal, and a Portuguese flag shows up.

Another idea I just want to throw out there, maybe we can use the countries (flags) to change how the pages look. So if you select the French flag, the car's page will show the name(s), engines, etc that were available in France (and European pictures). Basically have all the relevant info on the page for the country you are looking at. If you select the US flag, the car's page will show the name(s), engines, etc that were available in the USA (with American pictures).

I know WCS has limitations, and I don't know how much is possible, but perhaps we can use parts of any of these ideas.

oh good idea for the last thing you say. You select the country where you live? It's that? And after that the site list alls car sold in your country and the others cars are in another section like "Cars not imported". But we have for that to complete more the countries where the cars are sold...

No I mean the actual car pages, not the brand pages. I think the brand pages are good like how you divided them (Europe, USA, Japan, Asia, etc).

Well it depends on the car of course, but I think most European countries would have the same engines? I don't usually do Europe, so I don't know how often you encounter engines that are only available in specific countries.
It's a bit complicated, because engines would need to have settings for which country they were available in. But I would say by default, all engines are available for the countries in which the car is available, and then we can work from there.

I've phased out all of the American market Audis, even though there are of course newer models. Maybe if we have a better system in the future for listing different markets, I will add to this again.
