Is it just me, or does something seem off about the Spark 1/43 #318?
Along with Bburago, Kyosho also has a 1/18 of this available.
Also done in numerous paint schemes in 1/64 by Hot Wheels.
Other brands that have released this car in diecast form, for those who want references:
- Kyosho: 1/43 (Gunmetal, Ultimate Silver, Ink Blue) - Hot Wheels: 1/64 (Silver) - Tomica Limited Vintage Neo: 1/64 (Blue, Grey, White) - Maisto: 1/32 (Red) |

I know there's no page on here for the previous generation Silverado, but the Majorette castings are of said generation, not this one.
This generation of Silverado has been replicated in 1:64 by Matchbox and Greenlight. |
Not France exclusive. The US market actually got these shortly before Toys R Us announced they were going out of business. I was lucky enough to get the complete singles, including this one, which was limited to one per case.
Don't forget the plain blue debut version of the Majorette model and the Racing Cars series release. There's also the awkwardly proportioned Matchbox police casting, along with a handful of Tomicas, in case anyone plans to add them.

Still never understood why they went ahead with that 'The Beast' paint scheme, when the actual one from Geiger Cars is the previous generation SVT Raptor. I've got the plain one in grey in my collection. Much nicer looking.

Never knew Majorette did the convertible version of this. All I've ever heard of was the GSR, which I own.
For some reason, I figured it was gonna be the Majorette version that gets listed here first. I've got that exact one in my collection, shame it doesn't have an opening feature like the brand's Challenger and Camaro castings.
I know that a few other brands have done this Mustang, too. There's a similar true 1/64 Auto World one, Maisto did a rather cheap (and somewhat oddly proportioned) version, Hot Wheels did the Laguna Seca version, and Greenlight did the racing version, the Boss 302R. |

Euro-spec page, US-spec images...I don't get it.

Not a bad start on the model cars, but there's others as well. TrueScale Miniatures makes a 1:43 scale resin model as well as a 1:18, Tecnomodel also has a 1:18 scale model.

Well, word has it that the ATS and CTS will be replaced by two new models with the 'CT' nameplating, specifically a CT3 and CT4 to replace the ATS (not sure if the 3 would be the sedan and 4 the coupe, similar to BMW, or perhaps the reverse), and a CT5 to replace the CTS.
It also seems like the Japanese brands are the only ones sticking to their guns with cars, along with crossovers and SUVs. Mitsubishi's sticking with the Mirage and Mirage G4 for the long run, even with just three CUVs alongside it in the lineup. Honda's keeping a great mix in their lineup, with CUVs based on or closely related to their cars, but not at the expense of the cars (Fit/HR-V, Civic/CR-V, Accord/Pilot), plus a truck and a minivan (Honda being only one of two brands in the US offering a pickup and a minivan in their lineup, the other being Toyota, because I'm not sure if the Transit Connect truly fits as a minivan), and will likely benefit the most from other company's product cuts. |

Ford's cuts are pretty much confirmed.
From what I've heard ONE of the three (300, Charger, Challenger) will get cut, with replacements for the other two coming in 2021. I've heard about GM considering cutting the Sonic, Impala, Volt and XTS, but nothing about the LaCrosse or CT6. The XTS needs to go, anyway. It really doesn't make sense to have two similarly sized sedans in the lineup, even if one is FWD and the other RWD. Kinda similar to why Lexus is considering cutting the GS and keeping the ES. Still, the automakers are gonna eventually kill the US auto market with crossovers and SUVs, especially when gas prices are on the climb once again...and, even after the summer season is over, they're not likely to go back down as much as they have. |

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but this concept is clearly an EV version of the Honda Vezel/HR-V.
Well, by 2020, they plan to introduce a coupe (possibly somewhat previewed by the Essentia) and two SUVs. They're actually selling quite well, and recently jumped to the very top of Consumer Report's vehicle scoring and vehicle reliability rankings.
Give 'em time, and they'll have an even bigger and better lineup. |

Clearly, GMC is looking to revolutionize the pickup truck market with the new Sierra.
Two new GMC exclusive, industry first features available for the Sierra are the new MultiPro Tailgate, with six unique positions and functions, with a smaller tailgate portion that can be pulled down, while the rest of the tailgate stays in place, and the revolutionary CarbonPro cargo box, which is the first ever production pickup truck bed made with carbon fiber inner panels and floor. While the rest of the cargo box remains roll-formed high strength steel, the CarbonPro setup shaves 62 lbs from the standard bed's weight. |

In that case, we should spell smart with a capital 'S', even though the manufacturer uses lower case. See what I mean?

Yes. SEAT is basically turning their high performance Cupra models into a separate brand, similar to what Volvo plans to do soon with Polestar.
It's official, SEAT's Cupra models are officially becoming their own brand. It was announced with the unveiling of the new CUPRA Ateca.
As of the 2018 season, the team is now known as Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.
Shame they don't offer this on the US-market HR-V. Would make a very sharp Sport trim.
Pretty obvious that the successor will be a localized version of the Kicks.

Question: We've got cars on here that aren't listed as being sold in Japan (XJ and KK Cherokee, Ford Explorer, Cadillac Seville and Deville, and this Tigra, for examples), but I've found commercials on YT for them from Japan, could they still be listed on the closest matching page?
Some of the commercials in '93 for the Concorde mentioned some of the same things, but there were multiple versions, longer and shorter, along with a few other different ads as well.
Two videos of promotional advertising. One contains two ads, one for the coupe and one for the sedan, while the second is a single ad with both bodystyles.

When introducing the first generation Altima, Nissan parodied two iconic Lexus commercials, 'Balance' (1989, LS400) and 'Ball Bearing' (1992, ES300).
In both commercials, they still remained complimentary of Lexus, but also showed that their affordable midsizer could perform just as well, all at a starting price of $13,000 (equal to a little over $22,000 in 2017). A version of the 'Balance' parody was also made for the Hong Kong market Bluebird in 1994. -- Last edit: 2018-01-07 20:35:57 |

Another iconic Lexus commercial, 'Ball Bearing' for the 1992 ES300. Became iconic to the point that Nissan parodied it in 1993 (along with Balance) to advertise the first generation Altima.

Added one of the most iconic car commercials of all time, the one that started it all for Lexus, 'Balance'.
