And this one looks like a Kia Optima in the rear.
From the doors back, it looks like a Kia Forte ripoff...
Very interesting. Ford Kuga/Escape body and interior, Honda CR-V front, Hyundai rear.
Looks a lot like a reworked Toyota Corolla...and I actually mean that in a good way, as this actually looks better than the current US-spec Corolla, in my opinion.
Looks a lot like a Volkswagen Tiguan with a little bit of Dodge Journey and Porsche in the rear. And those gauges behind the steering wheel kinda look like they came out of a Chevrolet Camaro.

Looks like they copied 5 different brands for this one. There's obvious Audi influence in the body, a lot of Volkswagen and a little SEAT in the front end, some Audi and Porsche in the rear, and that screen in the center of the dashboard SCREAMS Tesla.
Like the S3, this appears to take some Korean and Japanese influence, this time from the current generation Hyundai Tuscon and current generation Toyota RAV4, perhaps with a little bit of Ford Kuga/Escape mixed in, resulting in a design that's...not as attractive as the S3.
Looks like the offspring of a previous generation Hyundai Tuscon and a current generation Toyota RAV4, resulting in a...rather good looking vehicle.
Heck, the interior doesn't look half bad, either. Kinda like some Chinese designers are distancing themselves away from copying other vehicles, and rather using them as influence. You can see some RAV4 here, some Tuscon there, but neither one appears to be directly copied. |

The latest in Changfeng's line of continued production versions of the second generation Mitsubishi Pajero, which Changfeng has been building since 2005.
Looks a bit like a Nissan X-Trail ripoff.
Hmm...this generation stuck around 6 years, on par with the first two generations of MR Wagon.
I assume this means it's on the verge of a redesign, with it's badge engineered Nissan twin sticking around a little longer to keep space filled in the Nissan lineup? |

Been trying to find the Dune on other country's VW sites...
- Unsure about Spain, because I'm having difficulties navigating their site, same with Romania, and India's VW site doesn't give much for information on the Beetle. - Sweden is a YES. - Turkey is a NO, along with South Africa, Russia, Malaysia, Italy, Indonesia (in fact, the Beetle isn't offered there at all), France, China, Saudi Arabia, and Argentina. That leaves three countries that are listed undetermined. |
Checked South Korea, Australia, Japan, and Brasil. None of them have the Dune listed, so they're NOs, at least for now. I'm certain that if it's offered here, it'll probably be available in Canada as well.
Edit: Dune confirmed for the UK market. Edit 2: No Dune on the Canadian VW site. Edit 3: Confirmed, the Dune is available in the Mexican market. -- Last edit: 2016-04-18 05:07:08 |

Can't believe that Quattroporte and Ghibli have bad sales so they have to introduce SUV... Except they aren't bad. In fact, globally, the last two years have been the best sales years in the marque's history. (36,448 in 2014, 32,474 in 2015). The introduction of the Levante is only guaranteed to break those records even further. Though, when you take into consideration that the Levante was technically (in concept form) unveiled two years before either the current Quattrpoorte or Ghibli were unveiled, and global sales were only at 6,159 in 2011, more than 2,000 lower than 2008, then yes...Maserati sales WERE bad enough that they had to introduce an SUV, though tales took off well before they even introduced the production version (only incremental to 6,288 in 2012, but skyrocketed to 15,393 in 2013), which means that the goal is not to stop a sales slide, but rather to bolster record-setting sales numbers and take them even further. -- Last edit: 2016-04-14 16:48:52 |

Yep, and in order to replace them, FCA plans to seek out an import partner to manufacturer replacement models.

Gotta say, it looks like Mitsubishi has really done a great job with this refresh. Kinda looks as if it should have been like this in the first place.
But, I guess it was probably smart for them to start the way they did see how well the car would do, before deciding if it was worth updating it. Fortunately, the Mirage has been selling pretty well in the US market. I've been seeing quite a few around myself. And, if these updates are really as much of an improvement as they say they are, I imagine this and the new sedan version will sell even better. |

Looks a lot like a Ford Escape/Kuga with Porsche taillights and a Range Rover-esque grille, along with an interior that looks like a fusion of Ford and Range Rover interiors.
For something that looks to be a typical Chinese copycat...it actually looks pretty good. |

This car has one of the most fascinating stories I've ever read about.

Was intended to preview the future styling of the Oldsmobile brand and the next Oldsmobile Alero, but wasn't unveiled until AFTER General Motors announced the discontinuation of the Oldsmobile brand, and when it was unveiled, they simply called it the GM O4, with the Oldsmobile name removed.

Based on a Pontiac Firebird?

Am I the only one here who sees a very close similarity between this thing's headlights and those of the Nissan Silvia S15 that was released 4 years later?
Am I the only one who finds it strange that Honda hasn't updated it's top selling CUV in it's home country, while it's facelifted version is available in pretty much every other market it's sold in?
I mean, it's one of only a handful of JDM Hondas that DON'T wear the brand's new corporate front fascia styling in some way, shape, or form, with the others being the CR-Z (which was updated last year), the Legend (not as easy to do, being a rebadged Acura), and the Vamos and Vamos Hobio (both being designs older than the CR-V). |

Sounds like they're using a reworked version of the original R8's V8 engine in this.
Question is...is the 6 speed automatic the 6-speed R-Tronic also used in the original R8? |

Literally a slightly restyled Fisker Karma with a Corvette ZR1 powertrain.
Also, I changed the class to sedan, since that's what it is. |
Very interesting story behind this car, as it's literally a collaboration between Fisker, Bob Lutz, Gilbert Villarreal (a manufacturer who Lutz formed VLF with), and WeatherTech SportsCar Championship driver Ben Keating (who owns (and drives for) Viper Exchange Racing, and the title sponsor of the team), who partnered with VLF to develop this machine.
Of course, when you water it all down...it's basically a coachbuilt, tuned Dodge Viper SRT. |
Engine is basically a 2.0 Ford EcoBoost with a few upgrades, putting it's power levels almost directly between the Focus ST (252hp) it was likely sourced from, and another car using this engine, the Radical SR3 SL (301hp).

Is it just me, or do both this and the AT96 appear to take a lot of design inspiration from the McLaren P1?

This page can be cut off as 2013-15, as the 2016 version wears the front fascia design of the restyled 2017 Fusion.

I think there's a good positive that comes with this concept.
Reading the press release, Borgward doesn't call it a 'Sport Utility Coupe', like brands like Mercedes-Benz would, nor 'Sport Activity Coupe' like BMW, instead they call it what it really is, a 'SUV Sport Saloon'. That makes a lot more sense, because a coupe traditionally has 2 doors, not 4 (along with older 2-door sedans), whereas these SUV 'coupes' (GLE Coupe, X6, X4) and '4-door coupes' (CLS, 6 Gran Coupe, A7) aren't coupes at all. Borgward is literally telling it what it is, more in line with Subaru's sedan version of the Outback from the 90's-early 00's, which they called a 'Sport Utility Sedan', or SUS. And for that, I applaud them. |

Is there really enough for this to not be marked as Origin: USA, considering it's just an International Harvester Scout with light visual modifications?
